Our story begins in Dallas, where both of our professional journeys had recently brought us. Taylor had just moved to the city to start her career in the corporate world, working for an engineering company. She was excited to dive into her new role and explore everything Dallas had to offer. Around the same time, Joseph was moving from Iowa to Dallas to take over the family landscaping business. Having grown up with a passion for plants, and excited to carry on a family legacy of entrepreneurship, he was ready to put down roots in Dallas and grow the business further.

As fate would have it, we both became part of the same Dallas friend group. After lots of gatherings, game nights, and weekend adventures, we got to know each other better. Joe quickly realized there was something special about Taylor and asked her on a date. It took three tries (but who's counting? Joe...definitely Joe) before she finally agreed to go on that first date.

We made it official during Summer 2021.

Since then, we have created countless memories together, bonding over our love for dogs, adventure, traveling, and eating great food.

Joseph proposed on December 1, 2023 in one of our favorite cities, Miami. He had been planning it for months, practicing hundreds of times to perfect his one-knee form—just ask our friends! The proposal was perfect, as Miami is a place where we've shared some of our most memorable adventures. Taylor said yes, and we couldn't be happier to embark on this next chapter of our lives together.
